Songkhla, Thailand

Second day in Thailand, heading to Songkhla as planned. Man, it is not a nice one to do to pull this lit thing up from his dream in the morning. Nearly got kill in a foreign land without leaving a note. :P




First stop - Samila cape beach, the most popular beach in the province.

Mouse and cat island.

According to the local legend, a cat, mouse and dog were traveling on a Chinese ship, when they attempted to steal a crystal from the merchant. Swimming ashore with the crystal, both the cat and the mouse drowned and became the two islands, while the dog reached the beach, but died and become the hill Khao Tang Kuan. The crystal turned into the white sandy beach.

Couldn't stand the heat, 20mins there and I'm soaked in sweat. Ice cream treats for the big&small kids before head off to the next tourist spot.

Hat Yai Municipal Park

It is the major recreation for the people of Hat Yai and surrounding areas as well.
Beautiful flowering plants are all around, with a pavilion in the middle of the pond, avarium, and food stalls.
