Weekend at TDH Cider Saturday Massacre!

I know I'm a little too late as it's touching mid of the month already but #niggasaywhuuuut? Better late than never. Out of many drunken days in the past few months, I find this particularly amusing and yea, counted as one of the best day ever!

I woke up hungover of one beautiful Saturday and decided to go for brunch with the #barefootchics group. Just when I thought I could get another 20 mins of sleep, Caryn said "No, get ready and I'm on my way to pick you up, let's go somewhere."
. 
For us being us. Coffee sounds strange, pretty sure our body's autopilot system would direct us to our right place. So yea, started with my favorite booze/boost of the day - Bloody Mary w lotsa lotsa lotsa tobasco at Circus KL. -_-

If you have to ask if it's too early to drink...You're an amateur & we can't be friends. 

Nowadays taking car seems to be too mainstream. Our friends are busy flying all over the world than being in town. Hours of catching up with the #barefootchics with drinks and taaadaaaa, off we go to TDH madness Cider Saturday! (Ten bucks/each for any cider in the house!)



As we all agreed to go slow with the silent killer, it went perfectly well for the.... first 90 minutes I would say.
Photos were great, peoples talking, everything's normal.

What do you expect? The booze was cheaper than petrol!

Lazy updates; Chillin' Places To Visit.

Afternoon peeps!

I went through my Instagram photos before I sleep last night and I realize there are some cool places I've visited in recent days. Since "sharing is caring"; my bad if I don't share this with you lovelies no?

1. Pisco Bar, Changkat Bukit Bintang

A hidden gem located in one of the busiest street in city center, serving you authentic Peruvian cuisine and lips smacking cocktails. You can never go wrong with a glass of Pisco Sour.
Consider yourself lucky if you see someone start dancing on the bar, or you could be next! :) 

2. Aoyama Japanese Restaurant, Sri Hartamas
Ground Floor, No.8, Jalan 27/70A, Desa Sri Hartamas, K.L (Opposite the open car park)

My new found love after Ozeki in Kuala Lumpur. I was told that it has opened their door since ten years ago. Pre-book your dinner a day or two before and save your time on thinking what to pick from their menu.  Let them know about your preferred food choices and ready for some foodgasm.



3. Fat Spoon, Uptown Damansara

A place introduced by my #barefootchics in Uptown Damansara.
Cosy interior design with creative food menu. Try their Spicy Beef Macaroni or the colorful Ulam Fried Rice, it's reallllly good! Many attractive items on their menu with reasonable price that I would love to go back for more!
Maybe we do a lunch date soon?



4. Mr. and Miss, Oasis Ara Damansara

Dropped by for lunch with my boss after a meeting last week and had wonderful time! Love the interior design and the props on the table for customers to play around or #takepicha.
Great big breakfast and Carbonara, check it out if you're around the corner. :)




Too lazy to write further, I shall do another one sooooon.

St Patrick's 2013 - It's going to be March More Fun!

The celebration of everything's green is back for the 7th year of Guinness St Patrick's celebrations in Malaysia with the the promises to be "March More Fun"! Last night, we celebrated the the first day of the month-long happiness at Havana, Changkat Bukit Bintang.

We arrived the area pretty early in order to avoid the after-office hour traffic. Being the first few early birds at the party, there was nothing better than a pint of ice cold beer to quench our thirst of the burning afternoon.



Stepped into the second floor of Havana, we were served with pints of happiness within second!
Instant cool down effect with air conditional blasting and drinks, you couldn't ask for anything better in life. :P

Give yourself a lit treat - Champagne brunch at Circus, Pavilion

He said  "Hey, wake up, let's go for something good for the Christmas eve morning, a little treat for ourselves on this joyful day." Hmmm, I wouldn't mind the gentle treats on my every grumpy morning. :)

It took me another two hours for to tear-away the ultimate bond with my beloved bed and pillows and ready for outing. We went to theeeeee (drum roll please) champagne brunch in Circus, Pavilion.



Suffering from a hangover on a Sunday morning after a havoc night out on Saturday night? You might need a blardy good bloody Mary or my choice, a glass of bubbly ones.
Moet Chandon free flow for four hours from 12pm - 4pm every Sunday with the scrumptious international buffet in the outlet, I smells fun.



I never like to start my drinks with empty stomach. I don't like seafood as well, not to mention that I never have the guts to feed on oyster before. So under the pressure of those fiery stares from a bunch of heartless people, I popped my cherry on ze-ultimate-bizarre-looking-creature-on-earth.

It was..... not bad. *Excuse me, you oyster lover*

My favourite of the day.

The risotto station. They serves you different type of risotto (ginger, chicken, etc) every different Sunday, so give yourself a shot. I'd say it's a MUST of the day before you dig into the dessert session.

There's a dessert bar in the restaurant displays the sinful pieces of evil.
I picked my Tiramisu to go w the bubbly.. it was lovely.



Two is better than one.






The food was overall great and I love the beef cuts,  and risotto!
Then again, the bubbly says it all.

I'm lovin' it.

New Year's Eve at W Hotel, Seminyak Bali

Ok, let's skip that million things that I want to post but I decided I should share my new year's eve in Bali first with ya! I bet many of you had a havoc night out for party or simple as a gathering with friends. For us? So many "obstacles" to go through which I think it make the best night out of all.

Kicked off the day chilling by the pool in villa after breakfast was simply blissful.



Weeks before we depart, we wanted to book the very famous Potato Head NYE count down's party but unfortunately it was fully booked and all tickets are sold out. Ku De Ta is of course, sold out too!

So during the day itself, we decided to drop by to check if there's any ticket sold  on the spot. We were told to come back at 7pm sharp as they have 150 tickets for walk in, and they don't encourage queue up so we have to be there on time!

Potato Head, Bali.

It's not worth wasting every minutes of sunlight, we went around Seminyak area and visited the next happening spot - W Hotel, apparently one of the hottest spot in Bali for the day.



The entire place is so beautiful with modern interior design with the most spectacular beach front view. But then again, a night stay in the hotel would cost us the same with the villa we rented for a week. :|



It was actually the one and only day that we got perfect weather with sun shining on our face during the entire trip. Now come to think about it, I think we were kinda lucky to stuck in this beautiful spot.



Got our late lunch/early dinner fixed at Woobar.

It says "Grab your hottest girl, free drinks for that most revealing outfit choice!"

Great spot for mingle, relax, chilling, and of course some gossip. :P

Spotted a special NYE's liquid menu just for the day itself. I wasn't surprise that the prices are all sky high but some are seriously, r-i-d-i-c-u-l-o-u-s ! For example, I wouldn't pay $400 (RM1200) for a bottle of Black Label, or would ya? 

But drinks by glass were acceptable. ($15/each)



Perhaps due to it's busy crowd in the afternoon, the service at Woobar was terrible! We tried to call the waiter/waitress for 3 times and waited for half an hour but no one gives a damn to us. Got us quite grumpy but when we finally had our food, it compensate a lit. :S

We travelled back to the villa for a quick shower after lunch, and went back to Potato Head at 6pm to find out that all tickets are already sold out around 5pm! WTF major disappointed because they insisted us not to go queue up or whatsoever. And why would you start selling them at 5pm when you told us to go back at 7pm?!

Knowing there's no chance for us to get in, we found L hotel for dinner before the NYE party started.
Overpriced menu with average quality, I don't recommend it unless you're running out of idea.

Stopped by different places to check on their NYE's party and realize the best is still W Hotel for London Beats & Resident's DJ. Since all of them shares the same beach, I suppose it's gonna be fantastic to watch the fireworks regardless where you are!




Then again when we reached W Hotel, we faced another issues where guest with shorts are not allowed to enter! Anyway, long story short, the boyf managed to get in before 12 am and everything went perfectly well after.  ;;)

The moment after 3, 2, 1.... 



Witnessed one of the merriest fireworks on the beach and party crowd was definitely a WOW experience. Didn't manage to capture a good video of the fireworks but I guess you could Google NYE in Bali and watch it on Youtube.



Fun starts pouring in after the count down and too much Gin & Tonic can never do you wrong on a new year's eve party! :D 

Experienced probably one of the most dramatic night ever but we had fun eventually!
So, no regrets!  :x
